We were selected as development partner by Darlington Borough Council in November 2012 for this town centre leisure scheme which opened summer 2016.
This on-terminal hotel is the largest Hampton by Hilton in Europe and our latest investment in the London, Stansted and Cambridge growth corridor.
The 8.5 acre site accommodates a 99,653 sq.ft. foodstore which has been let to Sainsbury's together with eight industrial units ranging from 3,000 sq.ft up to 11,600 sq.ft built speculatively as part of the development.
We acquired this 4.5 acre site in October 2016 and have completed the construction of the retail park development totalling 37,500 sq.ft in October 2017.
We acquired this existing leisure park in 2015 as it had material potential for enhancement in an area designated for leisure.
Current
Our commercial sites comprise a number of bespoke city centre developments targeting de-risked shorter‑term returns. Our ongoing commercial developments continue to make good progress with completions programmed over the next four to five years.
Catesby
Urban&Civic's Catesby sites are smaller scale consented and de-risked residential sites of up to 2,000 units in locations of proven housing need, which we sell on to our housebuilding customers.

Our strategic sites are almost entirely within 100 miles of London, in key growth locations and with strong transport links with delivery and returns achieved over ten to 20 years per site.
