2021 saw a series of major additions to Priors Hall Park’s amenities with the opening of a new District Centre, providing the community with everything they could need just a short walk away.
January saw the successful opening of a Sainsbury’s Local supermarket and a Busy Bees Nursery, closely followed by a barbers, vets, dentist, hair salon and a dog groomers in April.
By the end of the year the district centre was home to a pizza restaurant, pharmacy, fish and chip / Chinese takeaway, a wellbeing centre and a 66 room care home.
We have also turned one of the units into a community hub which will be used by local people and host organisations, meetings and events, as well as providing more information about the growing development.
Rather than rushing to national brands, Urban&Civic have been very selective in choosing the new occupants and have targeted local businesses, as well as curating a blend of high quality complementary services to support a vibrant district centre.
As residents of PHP we knew that bringing a dental practice to this neighbourhood would be beneficial to the community. What can we say, the last 6 months has been a dream; our location is highly recommended due to its ease of access from all around, with effortless parking facilities. We have managed to cleverly use our space, meaning our practice is bright and airy, with elegant, eco-friendly décor.”
